FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which files do I need to upload?

Every assessment starts with the Balance Sheet, Statement of Profit and Loss and Cash Flow Statement. Your analyst then selects only the supporting schedules that are relevant to your industry and scope — typically around ten, not the full catalogue. Blank templates can be downloaded from your portal.

Which financial years are covered?

The default scope is five financial years (FY22 to FY26) on an April–March year. The scope can be changed per assessment.

Do you guarantee savings?

No. CostCubes identifies and quantifies potential opportunities where your data supports a calculation and shows the assumptions behind each estimate. Realised savings depend on implementation and are tracked separately.

Is AI deciding the conclusions?

No. Financial calculations and reconciliations are deterministic. AI-assisted or rules-based observations are labelled as hypotheses and are reviewed, edited or rejected by an analyst before anything reaches your report.

Is my data sent to an AI provider?

Only if your organisation has given explicit consent and the feature is enabled. Without consent, analysis runs entirely on our servers using rules-based logic.

Who can see our data?

Only authorised users in your organisation, the analysts assigned to your assessment and CostCubes administrators. Every access to reports and source files is logged.

When do we receive the final report?

Final reports are released after your payment has been verified by the payment gateway and the report has been approved by a reviewer. You will be notified by email and, if enabled, WhatsApp.

Can we upload a corrected file?

Yes. Uploading a new version replaces the earlier one in the active dataset. Earlier versions are kept in your upload history for audit purposes.
